A concept little known to the French, electrical flexibility refers to the ability of the electrical system - including producers, consumers and network infrastructures - to adapt to variations in electricity supply and demand. In other words, it is a question of modulating electricity consumption down or up to maintain this balance in real time, especially during peak demand.
